Two Years Later: Why Trisha is Still Our "Consistency Queen"

In April 2024, we shared Trisha’s incredible story. She was a busy entrepreneur and mom who had finally escaped the "start over on Monday" cycle after 20 years of yo-yo dieting.

Now, it’s 2026. In an industry where most people regain the weight within months, Trisha is doing something radical: Not only is she maintaining, she is feeling amazing and staying consistent!

I caught up with Trisha to see how the 1:1 habits we built together years ago are holding up since we last spoke - for me, an excellent nutrition coach instills the changes necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle:)

Living Beyond the "Quick Fix"

For two decades, Trisha tried it all—Weight Watchers, Optavia, keto, and shakes. Today, her life looks completely different. Instead of counting down the days until a "diet" ends, she is simply living.

“The biggest difference between now and then is that I am just living a better lifestyle, doing the things I have to do and loving it, not dreading it.  I’ve maintained for a while and now I'm seeing more body composition changes.”

Handling the Chaos

As a business owner and mom, life hasn't slowed down for Trisha. But her reaction to stress has. The "all-or-nothing" mentality has been replaced by the "always-something" approach. When a day gets hectic, she doesn't spiral; she relies on her non-negotiables.

Trisha says, "I never start my day without 20 ounces of water - it’s become such a habit that I don’t even have to think about it anymore!” (my nutrition coach's heart beamed when I heard this!).

The Physical & Mental Evolution

Two years ago, Trisha was celebrated for being down 26 inches and "shopping in her own closet." Since then, her transformation has shifted from just numbers on a scale to a feeling of total empowerment.Since we last checked in, Trisha is at weight she haven’t been since 2018. It’s not about the number on the scale.

She says, “ I have no number I need to get to -  I just know I’m loving feeling better with the continued loss of weight and inches building more muscle!”

She mentions that this new level of energy has been a game-changer for her family life, helping her stay present and truly wanting to be involved in every moment.

Why 1:1 Coaching Was the Turning Point

IWe asked Trisha what she would say to the woman currently on her 10th "diet," feeling exhausted and ready to give up:

"If you’re tired of the yo-yo diets and expensive weight loss products, my advice is  1:1 nutrition coaching.  Absolutely invest in a coach. Having someone 100% in your corner understanding where you are at and holding you accountable is life changing. No quick fix is going to do that.

Health Goal 2.0

Health isn't a finish line; it’s an evolution. Now that she has mastered the basics, Trisha is looking toward the future. Her goal for the rest of 2026 is to stay consistent and keep going!

She says, “If I “screwed up” on my “diet”, I used to have the mindset of “screw it, I’ll eat all the things and start on Monday… AGAIN!” I now have the mindset of I made a choice to eat this or that I am human and the NEXT meal I’ll get right back to it.

Since working with Annie my relationship with food is so much better! You won’t regret having her in your corner!
